James(Satyaraj) works in a call center. One his way to work in the train one evening, he witnesses the murder of a union leader(Ajay Rathnam) and becomes indispensable to the police since he is the only eyewitness. The police believe that the killer may be back. So they get James and Aishwarya(Sunita Varma), an informer, to pose as husband and wife and move into the house opposite the victim's house The movie turns interesting with Ajay Rathnam's murder but fails to maintain the interest for long. The move by the police to put the eye-witness up in the opposite house is silly and teaming him up with an 'informer'(who by the way, is singing and dancing in skimpy clothing with her friends when first shown!) is obvious as a way to introduce a heroine. But the movie then throws up a neat twist midway. The development answers some questions about the story so far and also perks up interest in the story which had appeared to be meandering aimlessly.
